Annual Planning

Annually, we examine student attendance, discipline records, and achievement data to align our counseling program with our priorities. This enables us to evaluate where additional support is needed and embed the school mission into our program.

Counselor Use of Time

Based on ASCA recommendations, I spend at least 80% of my time in direct and indirect services to students to ensure an effective counseling program. I monitor my time spent on each component of the ASCA National Model through a Use-of-Time Calculator that ensures students are my top priority.

MANAGE

The Manage Component of the ASCA National Model includes the tools and assessments needed to steer and shape a results based counseling program focused on student needs.

Advisory Council

The Harmony Advisory Council is a group of collaborators who gather to support and evaluate the school counseling program. We analyze and make recommendations for the program, assess student outcome goals, and advocate for program funding. The advisory council offers perspective, guidance, and suggestions for the program, providing feedback that reflects various values and interests.
